Matthew Schwab, Co-Founder & Sr. Portfolio Mgr.

Matthew Schwab is Co-Founder and Senior Portfolio Manager at Karlin Real Estate. Since co-founding Karlin Real Estate in 2008, Matt has overseen over $6 billion in acquisitions, development and financings of real estate across the United States and Europe. Most recently his team built out the Parmer Innovation Center platform that owns and operates 6.5 million square feet of amenity-rich, tech focused campuses worldwide.  Parmer Innovation has executed more than nine million square feet of transactions with Fortune 500 companies and continues to develop millions of square feet across twelve different campuses.   Matt has moderated and served on a number of panels, including the PERE Global Investor Forum and the IMN Opportunity Fund Conference. Currently, he sits on the Board of Advisors for the Ziman Center for Real Estate and the Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies both located at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. He is also a Chair of the Board of Trustees for PS1 Elementary School in Santa Monica. Matt is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.S. in Economics) and the Anderson School at UCLA (M.B.A.).
